About

Why Borden Burger?  Slang terms for the Canadian $100 bill are C-note (for the Roman numeral for 100), an Onion (talk to a gambler) and a Borden (Sir Robert Borden is on the Canadian $100 bill).  The aviation slang for an excuse to go flying is the $100 Hamburger.  Generally, the $100 Hamburger involves a short flying trip to eat at a restaurant and then fly home.

I am sharing my trip from 0 flight experience, other than a passenger, to going for my first $100 (Borden) Burger.

So Borden Burger was born.  Enjoy…or don’t.  Don’t let me tell you what to do.
